Watch the Throne 501- “The Wars to Come”

This week Gary and I are recaping Game of Thrones season 5, episode 1, titles “The Wars to Come” It has been a very long night. We started our recording tonight at 8pm est and we called ourselves trying to be professional, by adding music to the beginning of our cast. So here we are at 2am and I have just now finished editing and adding the music. Something that would take a pro 10minutes, took me almost 5 hours….Im sure every podcaster has experienced this headache atleast once, right?

We went from scene to scene discussing what we thought, which ranged from the unsullied and their mommy issues, punk kids, backstabbers, weird small talk, and who we cant wait to see die. I can prmise you this episode I do not have as many “anywhos” as I did in our instant cast…I think it has been narowed down to 3, maybe 4.

Fear The Walking Dead:New Teaser Trailer

AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead is the upcoming spinoff from AMC’s original series “The Walking Dead”. This new series takes place in Los Angeles. The show is set to air on AMC this summer.

We are really looking forward to meeting new characters and seeing the experience of a new group. Most importantly, whats different from this show than the original, is all the content will be original. The Walking Dead is based off a comic book of the same name, and although the show runners have changed some of the characters and story line, it still does follow the comic.

The new 16 second teaser trailer dropped during this past Sunday’s epic season 5 finale of The Walking Dead, and it has already created some buzz. Fans of the show, such as myself cant seem to get enough of the zombie apocalypse world. Hopefully the show runners have taken note of their past mistakes on The Walking Dead, and we can expect to see a higher quality show with this new spin off. Either way we will definitely be watching when it premieres and will follow all six episodes from it’s debut season.

Tell us what you think about the trailer below.

Walking Dead spinoff: “Fear the Walking Dead”

Earlier today Robert Kirkman, creator for the hit tv series and comic book announced on Twitter, that The Walking Dead spinoff would be titled “Fear the Walking Dead”.

The pilot is set to release this summer, and has already been picked up for two seasons. The first season will consist of six one hour episodes. We do not know much about the storyline, however it is set to take place in Los Angeles, Ca. The show will star Cliff Curtis, Kim Dickens, Alycia Debnam Carey, and Frank Dillane.

The first trailer is set to release after this Sunday’s 90 minute season finale of The Walking Dead.

Being big fans of The Walking Dead, and starting our podcast too late to cover this 5th season, we are excited to be ready to cover the spin off from the very beginning.

Let us know what you think of the spinoff name below, and check back here Sunday night for the new trailer!
